‍Recently, Matthew G.S Ren, Managing Director of Liaoning Sun-land Law Firm, undertook a foreign-related legal exchange and corporate research trip to Singapore and Malaysia. Centered on cross-border e-commerce legal services and foreign-related lawyer training, the visit included in-depth exchanges with the Law Society of Singapore, the Malaysian Bar, the Kuala Lumpur Bar, the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), multiple law firms in both countries, and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia. Managing Director Ren also attended the 5th anniversary forum of AllBright Law Offices' Singapore office and visited Shandong Haihua, a cross-border e-commerce operator deeply rooted in Southeast Asia. During the trip, he advanced a key stage of a case concerning the recognition and enforcement of a London international arbitral award, putting Sun-land's cross-border dispute-resolution capability into practice.

‍On the afternoon of July 30, 2026, the second session of the "2026 Northeast Asia Commercial Arbitration Legal Salon" was successfully held at the Hengli Hotel in Dalian. The event was hosted by the Northeast Asia International Arbitration Center of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission and the Dalian Council for the Promotion of International Trade, organized by the Dalian Logistics Association, the Dalian Cross-Border E-Commerce Association and the Dalian International Freight Forwarders Association. With the theme of "Legal Risk Prevention and Control and Diversified Dispute Resolution Practices in Cross-Border E-Commerce, Shipping and Logistics," the salon brought together representatives from arbitration institutions, industry associations, enterprises and the legal services sector to discuss key legal issues, practical challenges and dispute resolution approaches arising from the integration of cross-border e-commerce and international shipping logistics.
